We can get lost in the sea of data collected now at every turn in the event lifecycle: marketing, registration, engagement, social media, sales pipeline, surveys and more. But not all data are created equal. Each tech vendor touts the data their product features are built to collect, though those may not be the most useful. Data rock stars like statistician Nate Silver are famous not for the volume of their data, but for knowing which specific numbers are likely to make a difference. This session will explore a variety of measurement metrics for different types of events and provide a framework for determining event success with your clients, bosses and other stakeholders.
